License to Cruise is your ticket to "Gear Up" for a spectacular Octoberfest! Friday, September 24, 2010 College Avenue from 6-9:30 P.M. (between State St. and Drew St.) Octoberfest's famed "License to Cruise" draws in some of the hottest street rods, hot rods, trucks and classic cruisers. The featured car for 2010 will be the: "Corvairs" All cars must be manufactured in 1980 or before and you must have proof of registration to be allowed on the Avenue. The cost to participate in License to Cruise car show is $5.00. You won't go away hungry after viewing the over 400 cars. Enjoy all that "The Ave" has to offer with 45 Eateries and 23 Pubs & Clubs plus 15 street vendors.

Show Cars: Antique auto enthusiasts from throughout the nation will be present for the four days, with about 2500 fascinating vehicles ranging from the early 1900's through 1979. Special exhibit areas include the Blue Ribbon, Pre-War, Post-War, Military, Modified and Theme. Please no "For Sale" signs in the show car areas.

Car Corral: Over 1,000 collectible cars - year 2000 or older, will be offered for sale by their owners to potential buyers in this special section of the show grounds.

Swap Meet: The Swap Meet area now has 4,428 spaces, loaded with automotive related items. The Swap Meet area is open four days starting Thursday.
